• Vision
• To be recognised as a world authority on the
  delivery of services to remote locations,
  utilising telecommunications infrastructure.

• Mission
• Identify remote community service requirements
  and develop effective mechanisms for their
  delivery
• Establish groups of Territory based expertise to
  create innovative, quality, service delivery
  solutions
• Research and develop innovative service delivery
  systems and processes and
• Develop and export solutions, primarily within
  Australia and to the Asia Pacific area.

Initial Objectives

• Obtain external funding to the value of 250,000
• Identify and commission suitable projects to run
  through the Centre that are RD funded by Optus
• Submit 2 Estens funding submissions
• Develop an interim Business Plan

Achievements to date

• Board approval of one Optus funded RD project.
• Investigating two further projects
• Submitted 3 CCIF funding submissions
• Commenced on the development of the interim
  Business Plan
• Investigated external funding opportunities
