Project Goal

• Computer control of a line following robot to
• Explore a rectangular maze one step at a time
• Solve for a short path through the maze
• Run the robot along that short route

• Only two dead ends
• bottom left (start) and top right (end)
• Multiple paths from start to end

Competitive Scoring

• Search
• can spend as much time as you want
• cost is 1 point per forward move
• Analysis and run
• the robot must traverse from start to end
• cost is 4 points per forward move
• Run-offs on May 4 (final class day)
