25Phase II Details
- Positions are required for everyone - Faculty,
Staff, Students and Affiliated Workers. - Appointment document creation and management will
no longer be done by departments across campus.
Appointments will be fully generated out of HRMS
when any employment action is taken. - Appointments are replaced by Assignments.
- Category of Affiliated Workers - volunteers,
contractors, visiting researches, etc. is
introduced. - Concept of Pooled positions is introduced for
Student and Affiliated Workers.
26Phase II Details (cont)
- Position now contains funding data.
- Multiple appointments to accommodate separate
funding will no longer be necessary. - Partial day leave without pay (LWOP) processing
is available.
