15Project Objectives
This will be accomplished through developing a
cross-border agro-food platform strategy. The
strategy is aimed at promoting new ST
partnerships and identifying means of
implementing and supporting a successful
cross-border agro-food ST co-operation in the
domain of fruit and vegetable processing.

The Cross-Border Agro-food Processing ST
Platform Strategy will identify the means to
upgrade the fruit and vegetable processing
chains in China. The results of the action will
highlight ways to improve policies and implement
the appropriate technologies.
- Developing new partnerships and a structure that
will encourage - international cooperation.
- Providing Chinese companies a clear path to
improving product - quality to meet the import requirements of the
European Union.
- Establishing stronger networks within the food
chain.
- Strengthening synergies between agro-food
stakeholders.
