In December 2000, the Company buys Viscosity Oil,
an american brand that owns important exclusive
technologies. This allowed FL to become worldwide
leader in lubricants production for agriculture.
At the end of 2005, FL buys MISAL AREXONS
At the end of 2007, FL Selenia is given away by
KKR, private American Investment Fond to
PETRONASa petrol company with the headquarters
in Malaysia.
The Company is founded as Fiat Lubricants
Division.
In 2003 FL Selenia buys Rondine Azienda
Petrochimica,a lubricant producer (over 80.000
tonns/ year sold) having the thrid capacity
production plant and important clients such as
Total Fina ELF, Agip as well as distribution for
Fortum and Lubrizol.
In 1980 the company expands interantionally
starting with the first subsidiary in Brazil. In
1987 Oleoblitz Company is bought.
In 2006, FL buysSunoco Belgium, lubricants
producer ( 40.000 de tonnes/year).
