The basics

• You will be getting into groups of 2 or 3.
• Remember
• Each group member will have an equal part of the
  assignment- which means you will all share a
  grade!!
• CHOOSE WISELY!

What you are doing

• You will be creating a book/handbook for
  pregnancy.
• This can be geared towards pregnant teens or
  20s, or even older women if you choose.
• You need to clearly state who the book is for in
  the beginning- who is your audience?

• PART ONE
• There will be 1 page dedicated to how pregnancy
  happens
• You will be explaining conception occurs
• You need to have a picture and explain it so that
  whoever your target audience can understand what
  takes place.

• PART TWO
• There will need to be 1 page for each month of
  pregnancy
• This is where you will explain what happens
  during each month, both to the mother and the
  fetus!
• Include pictures, drawings and graphics

• PART THREE
• There will be 1 page for facts
• about pregnancy.
• What will be of interest to your audience?
• There will be 1 page for nutrition during
  pregnancy.
• What foods/nutrients are vital throughout the
  pregnancy?
• What should your audience know?

PART FOUR

• You will have 1 page of your choice!
• This can include
• Anything in chapter 5 -lesson 1 or 2
• Breastfeeding vs. bottle feeding
• Infertility
• Teenage parenthood challenges
• Supplies needed for a baby
• Anything else you have approved that you believe
  would be important for your audience

THE REQUIREMENTS

• You will need to have at least 10 pictures or
  graphics.
• You can get these from magazines, computer
  printouts, or drawings.
• You must have at least 13 pages or information,
  and 1 page dedicated to MLA
• Your sources cited correctly!
• DUE ON TUESDAY- 3RD.
• WORK DAYS IN CLASS TILL THEN!
