Reasons

• Safety must be the number one concern in the shop
• Students must develop the right attitudes for
  work in a shop environment
• Through practice the students should feel
  confident when working with and around equipment

Goals

• Students will demonstrate proper use of the tools
  and machinery through both physical and written
  experiences.
• Students will gain a knowledge of how each
  machine is used including setup and proper use of
  the machines apparatus.
• Students build cooperative learning skills
  through a group based research projects.

  with the shop and demonstrate safe working
  procedures.
• Students will demonstrate respect for each other
