• Circumstances of an action are secondary
• Can increase/decrease moral goodness or evil of
  an act
• Stealing the last dollar from a poor person is
  more serious that stealing 10 from a millionaire
• Act is wrong in both cases

  responsibility or blameworthiness for a
  particular action
• Sometimes circumstances make no difference
• A good end does not justify evil means

ALTERNATIVES CONSEQUENCES

• Moral decisions should not be made until
  alternatives are considered
• Likewise, we should never act without considering
  the consequences of our actions
• Can help us determine if something is morally
  good or evil
• Act only in ways that you think would be morally
  acceptable for all people, at all times
• Always respect others..never do anything that
  would treat them as things.
