• 100 meg wired, 11 meg wireless, remote access
• Exchange email/calendar
• 50 desktop/client applications

Designing Systems

• Using the Vision Statement as a guide, design
  computing systems that are high-quality
  (throughput, response time, stable, high
  capacity, secure, scalable) and cost effective
  (total cost HW, SW, maint, staffing)
