2To Whom is the Programme Applicable?
- For up to 120 students from Year 8 or S2
preparing for their SATs - For year 10 preparing for their GCSE or Standard
Grades - For year 12 preparing for their A Levels or
Highers - This Programme is a commitment for up to 24
months and contains (see next slide) a unique
approach of focusing IQ and EQ to give the
students optimum Learning Mind Frame
3What does the Commitment to Excellence Programme
consist of
- Each student is given the following advanced
learning skills over 5 -3 hours sessions
throughout the course time line, we run one
session in the morning and the other in the
afternoon, our meetings with teachers and parents
are run on the day of our visit to the students - POR reading
- Centre Line Reading strategies
- Power writing
- Patterning
- Memory and revision techniques
- Each student is given the user name and password
for a e-learning site which embed the above
schools, each client school is given a control
page where they can see the progress of each
student in terms of time spent on the programme
as well as there performance on the tests
contained in the programme. - Each student is sent a weekly issue of the Go
For It programme which is designed to deal with
students behaviour and attitude issues - There are 3 teacher training modules to
compliment the programme each lasting for 2 hours - We need the Parents to be involved on the
Commitment Process so we have 3 parents evening
over the time line. Each parent will be given our
award winning Parents Resource Centre which is
web based

Roy Paget is a neuro-psychologist and a leading
authority on Brain Based Learning and the
educational and academic achievements of
children. He has devoted his lifes work to
raising human potential and personal
effectiveness and his unique approach to
consultancy and training has assisted companies
from here and abroad to dramatically increase
their business. Since gaining his Ph.D. in right
brain thinking, Roy has become a highly respected
author, lecturer, TV and radio personality and
consultant. In his clinical work, he has also
successfully treated hundreds of people in their
personal quest for harmonious and balanced
lives. Founded in 1992 of the British Academy of
Advanced Training, a company dedicated to
empowering both people and organisations towards
achieving greater success and increasing their
performance capability. In the last In the last
13 years he as raised the grades of 650,000
students at GCSE level as well as the performance
of 120,000 adults in Standard Life and many other
major plc. He as made a major effect in training
over 35000 teachers as well had a major effect on
the overall performance of 400 schools.
Shahid Akmal is the Managing Director of
Exquisitus Ltd, a Management and Consultancy
company that specialises in Diversity and Islamic
Cultural Awareness training and development. He
has trained many of the UKs leading
organisations and companies including the NHS,
Metropolitan Police and the Greater London
Authority. He is also our lead trainer and has
also written, planned and presented a number of
TV programmes, the most popular being Ramadhan
Reflections, on Zee TV for the last three
years. Shahid is a member of the UK Interfaith
Network and a regular speaker on the University
and College circuit and is now a senior partner
in Paget and Partners
The clients Pam has worked for cover both public
and private sector and include The Inland
Revenue, Ernst and Young, Thurrock District
Council, Thames Valley Police, Marks and Spencer,
British Steel, Lloyds Bank, Experian, Laser
Construction, Various Chambers of Commerce and
Boots, as well as many smaller Organisations. Havi
ng been fully involved in HR and Management
Development for over 12 years, her experience
includes the provision of - Business
Administration, Professional HR and Management
Qualifications, Tailored, bespoke and short
courses Project Management, General Management,
Budget Management and Consultancy. Pam is
passionate about development, and her down to
earth and motivational approach to training
creates the optimum environment for learning and
development to take place. She believes in
creative methodologies, but bases them on proven
foundations, theories and processes. Pam also
strongly believes that learning should be an
enjoyable and memorable experience that stays

- The course clear objective is to take any group
of students so that they lift a grade above there
predicted grades. Whether that is from A to A or
from E to D so it is particularly useful for the
critical CD borderline students - How many students can a school put on to the
course? 75 to 120 is the norm - The cost of the programme which includes that
stated above is - 8500 VAT travel and accommodation where
