Implementing

• 1. Meet with committee
• 2. Write letters to all parents of NCE
• 3. Follow-up letters and phone calls to confirm
  exhibitors and stating guidelines for
  presentations
• 4. Planning where exhibitors will be around the
  school
• 5. Coordinate with teachers the schedule
• 6. Ask for HELP!
• 7. Send exhibitors a copy of their schedule and
  times.
• 8. Send teachers an outline of the day with
  guidelines

Morning of the Career Fair

• Greet exhibitors
• Provide needed supplies
• Post signs of exhibitors
• Plan for a hospitality room

Participants

• NCE students enjoyed seeing Mr. Hancock and his
  police car. Most of all they loved the sounds and
  sitting in the back of the car. The students were
  reminded to never need to ride in the back of the
  police car. The fireman and policeman competed
  all morning with the sirens (of course, the
  students loved it)!!

Participants

• The parents of many students serve in the United
  States Armed Services. The students were
  comfortable and familiar with many of our
  exhibitors. Students enjoyed listening to Mr.
  Edwards talk about his experience as a United
  States Soldier in Iraq and his job on base at
  Fort Gordon.

Participants

• Dental hygienists play an important role in
  elementary career development. This dental
  hygienist is also our tooth-fairy in February.
  NCE students are familiar with school nurses. We
  found it exciting to see and listen to new faces.
  Our school nurse even learned a few things.

End of Career Fair

• Meet in media center
• Token of appreciation
• Thank you notes

Career Man

• During classroom guidance lessons students wrote
  about what they would like to be when they grow
  up. They decorated the Career Man to match
  their favorite occupation.
