Exploration activity in the area has concentrated
on stratiform barite-sulphide showings which are
hosted in Middle to Upper Devonian shales of the
Gunsteel Formation. The most developed
prospect is the Cirque deposit which contains an
estimated 38 m Tonnes _at_ 8.0 Zn and 2.2 Pb.

survey resulted in the discovery of a stratabound
suphide zone up to 12 metres thick and 100 metres
long located on the headwall of a north facing
cirque.
