• Full name-Annelies Marie Frank

Early Childhood

• When Anne was four years old, in 1933, Adolf
  Hitler ruled Germany
• Began schooling at Montessori school with sister
• At seven years old, was reading and writing very
  well

Middle Childhood

• On 13th birthday, received a diary
• July 6, 1942- Frank family went into hiding in
  Secret Annex
• August 4,1944 German police found them

Middle Childhood

• October 1945- Anne and Margot sent to
  Bergen-Belsen Concentration Camp, leaving mother
  behind
• March 1945- Anne and Marot died in BergenBelsen
  from Typhus

• Anne never became Early Adult because died before
  16th birthday

• Lived in a community of Catholic, Protestant, and
  Jewish people
• Frank family were Jews that lived in Germany
• Parents encouraged children to read

  friends during the Holocaust

Why I Think Anne Frank is a Hero

• A young women who faced tragedies in life with
  courage, and was able to deal with it through
  writing down her thoughts and feelings.
