- Founded by Nicolas Kanellos in 1979.
- Arte Publico Press is a non-profit publishing
company housed at the University of Houston. - Largest and oldest publisher of contemporary and
historical literature written by U.S. Hispanics
Mexicans, Puerto Ricans, and Cuban Americans. - Currently, Arte Publico has an inventory of over
400 titles valued at 1.5 million.
3Purpose
- Arte Publico Press has requested us to develop a
database that will help assist them in keeping
track of their book inventory. - We are creating a SQL Server Database with a
user-friendly Visual Basic Front-End. This will
allow end-users to be able to add, delete, and
update book inventory data.

Update, and Delete. A built-in fail safe feature
is added to confirm record deletion.

and Delete books from the inventory. Users may
also search by BookID, Book_Title, ISBN.
