Background

• Founded by Nicolas Kanellos in 1979.
• Arte Publico Press is a non-profit publishing
  company housed at the University of Houston.
• Largest and oldest publisher of contemporary and
  historical literature written by U.S. Hispanics
  Mexicans, Puerto Ricans, and Cuban Americans.
• Currently, Arte Publico has an inventory of over
  400 titles valued at 1.5 million.

Purpose

• Arte Publico Press has requested us to develop a
  database that will help assist them in keeping
  track of their book inventory.
• We are creating a SQL Server Database with a
  user-friendly Visual Basic Front-End. This will
  allow end-users to be able to add, delete, and
  update book inventory data.

Our new inventory system allows users to Add,
Update, and Delete. A built-in fail safe feature
is added to confirm record deletion.

The Book Info Form allows users to Add, Update,
and Delete books from the inventory. Users may
also search by BookID, Book_Title, ISBN.
