- SIRDs/ETCs.
- For 28 SIRDs, 50 recurring expenditure met by
MoRD including 100 support for 5 core faculty
members - For 89 ETCs(list circulated separately),
assistance from MoRD is Rs. 10 lakhs per annum
per ETC. - 100 non-recurring grant by MoRD for
infrastructural development of SIRDs/ETCs. - Organisation of Training Courses
- Central Sector Plan Scheme for organising
training courses, seminars, workshops, etc. on RD
programmes through SIRDs, ETCs, NGOs, etc. and
for career management of MoRD staff. - Maximum assistance of Rs. 2 lakh for each
programme

- Action Plans for training submitted by 20 States
yet to be received from Arunachal Pradesh,
Maharashtra, Bihar, Daman Diu, JK, Kerala,
M.P., Tripura, Pondicherry, AN Islands, Manipur
and JK. - Information regarding training given to PRI
members, RD functionaries and VMC members in
prescribed format received from only 9 States
Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Goa, Himachal Pradesh,
Karnataka, Orissa, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu and West
Bengal. - SIRDs/ETCs yet to send monthly progress reports
on line in web site www.rural.nic.in with pass
word Guest . - States requested to conduct training programmes
for VMC members as per training module finalised
by NIRD.

- Incomplete proposals for recurring grant received
from Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh
and Jammu Kashmir without some of the necessary
documents like utilisation certificate, copy of
order of state matching share, budget
provision for current year, progress report. -
- Non-recurring grant proposals to be accompanied
by cost estimates, lay out plans, drawings, etc.
and for those already sanctioned, proposals for
second instalment to include statement of
expenditure, progress report of construction and
site photographs. - New proposals for non-recurring grant received in
the Ministry will be considered by Departmental
Screening Committee shortly and grants released
subject to availability of additional funds.
