- EPA and ECOS have been working closely together
over the years to - Communicate earlier and more frequently
- Increase transparency and understanding
- Improve joint planning and priority setting
- Improve our measures and reduce reporting burden
- Support State planning pilot projects
5EPAs Strategic Plan
- Sets forth the long-term direction and measures
and is the basis for EPAs annual planning
process. - EPA has issued four Strategic Plans as required
by the Government Performance and Results Act of
1993 (GPRA). - We are now working on our fifth Strategic Plan,
- for 2009 -2014.
