OCF was established in 1998. OCF is composed
of 28 CAD vender companies.
OCF Verification
OCF verification was started last November.

Background
OCF Verification(1)

• The SXF specification does not spread.
• The situation for SXF of CAD is not understood in
  the user.
• The quality when data is exchanged is not
  guaranteed.

Purpose
OCF Verification(2)

• It will aim at the spread of the SXF
  specification in a short term.
• The data exchange standard is clarified.
• The result of the verification is opened to the
  public.
• Vender's information is exchanged with the user.

Outline of OCF verification(1)
1. Drawing verification

• Figure verifies whether making is possible
  according to the SXF feature.

2. Detailed verification

• The SXF file of each feature generated by the
  program at random is read, and it compares it
  with the generated file.

3. Limit verification

• A number of layers, coordinate system, a
  parameter, a partial chart, and the drawing
  group, etc. are verified.

4. Integrated verification

• The drawing is drawn by using all features, and
  it compares it with original figure.

5. Decision to pass or fail

• The logo mark is issued to CAD software of the
  verification passing, and it opens it to the
  public to the homepage.

Passing of the OCF verification will become
12 companies 23 set of software by this month.
