• Software provides a tutorial/game atmosphere as
  an overiew of the software.
• Allows students to work with pre-made
  spreadsheets.
• Students can create their own spreadsheets over
  an topic they chose.

• The Cruncher could easily be used in all
  subjects in the classroom. The Cruncher is a
  great way to present data and statistics to
  children. This software shows a variety of places
  where spreadsheets are used in the real world. I
  liked it because it was across the curriculum
  with science, social studies, language arts and
  math. It seems like there is something for
  everyone in The Cruncher. Using, reading and
  making a spreadsheet is definitely something kids
  need to know how to do.

The Pros of the software

• The software would perform very well in a setting
  like discussed in the lesson plan shown above.
• The software would also be an attribute to every
  subject matter taught in school.
• The software has so many dimensions and is easy
  to use for students.

  create their own spreadsheet)

  tools(Help demonstrate to students whether or not
  their ideas are working or worth it.)

Decision on Purchasing Software

• The software currently cost 99.95
• Due to the expense of the software it is the
  decision of the group to look further into the
  opportunities of the software.
• Order one copy so everyone can try out the
  software including a child to see if interest
  remains.
