Test-Taking Strategies
  • Analyze the question. Do NOT rush through the
    question. Read ALL of it!
  • Use knowledge to rule out wrong answers to
    help you guess wisely.
  • Your test booklet is your scrap paper- so
cross out unnecessary or extra information,
underline key words, or what you dont need.
  • Find the distracters in the m/c questions.
  • Never leave a question blank- Use your power
of knowing that you have a better chance of
    getting the question right!
  • Dont waste your energy trying to race others
or on one question going over it again and
    again.
  • Practice good time management- answer the
easier questions first so you can spend more
time with the harder ones or go back and check
    your answers.

  • Eat breakfast each day
  • Dress comfortably
  • Be confident of your ability

Lavoisiers model A. did not take into
account the correct charge on hydrogen ions. B.
was a failure, since bases, not acids, are able
to contain oxygen. C. was rejected as more
information was collected. D. was a mere
hypothesis with no data to support it.
