ALU LIKE program to train Native Hawaiians as
technicians for Hawaii observatories
  • Currently very few Hawaiians among observatory
    staff
  • We are bring trainees to LLNL 6 months Hawaii
    internships follow

Our first interns Kristian Keahi and Shordon
Lopes, on Mauna Kea Shordon is now working at
Keck Kristian will go to college in fall Next
group of interns is currently being recruited
