• External Addressing
• Recipient address need not be tied to a OneSAF
  entity
• Enables/facilitates communications with virtual
  and live systems
• Supports multiple tactical protocols and
  baselines during same exercise
• Complete framework for creation of new network
  media
• A medium partitions comms traffic and
  constrains reception of messages
• In addition to digital/tactical comms, framework
  will enable future development of media such as
  cell phones, newspaper routes, etc.
• Supports unique addressing schemes including
• URNs for VMF
• Subscriber IDs for AFAPD
• Multicast groups
• Default OneSAF address
