GLC 2000 Project Status
  • The VEGA 2000 S1 data set covers the period 1st
    November 1999 to 31st December 2000
  • 55 regional windows have been extracted and
    distributed by GVM to 30 GLC 2000 partners
  • The Global legend has been agreed upon
  • A range of methods have been used to generate
    first-draft data classifications for regions
    including Eurasia, Africa, South America, North
    America, SE Asia and Europe
