Title: Modular Manifold System
1Modular Manifold System
- The modular manifold system consists of multiple
zone control modules with either a zone valve or
circulator and a section of the supply and return
manifold attached to each module. As the modules
slide together with a double O ring connection,
the supply and return manifolds are created,
eliminating the need for much of the convention
piping normally required in a multi-zone hydronic
heating system.

The mixing modules are based on the same design
as the other modules with a section of supply and
return manifold built into the module for ease of
installation. The mixing portion was designed
around the Honeywell VC 6800 modulating control
valve and the V 135 Three way valve. The
following slides show different combinations of
valves and circulators for a complete mixing
module with no field piping required.
18Cross Section of Mixing Module casting
19Casting for a mixing module using V 135 Mixing or
Diverting valve and an inline pump module
20Installing an inline pump module into the mixing
module casting
21Complete mixing module using the V 135 valve and
the T 100 R sensor. Circulator is an in-line
module installed with the same O ring connection
as the supply and return splices
22Complete mixing module with a VC 8631 modulating
control valve and an in-line pump module.
23Mixing module casting with a cast in housing for
the circulator pump.
24Complete mixing valve with a built in circulator
and a VC 8631 modulating control valve. Castings
also have provisions to mount modules to standard
uni-strut in seconds
25This casting allows the use of any size or brand
of circulator to be used on this module
26Complete mixing module using a common flanged
circulator and a VC 8631 modulating control valve
27Four mixing modules take less than 19 of wall
space
