• Oblique drawings are a form of pictorial drawings
  in which the most descriptive or natural view is
  treated as the front view and is placed parallel
  to the plane of projection. The third dimension
  is drawn at an angle between 30 degrees and 60
  degrees because they result in minimum distortion
  of the object.
