  • Conduct a good plate meeting
  • Require all changes to go through you
  • A to B and lock
  • Stay down on balls and rise on strikes
  • Relax between pitches
  • Mask off and move on every hit ball
  • Call Play after every dead ball
  • Watch every play
  • Sell calls only on close plays
  • No stadium calls-Dont shout out obvious calls
  • Grant Time only when necessary
  • Dont visit with partner between innings-unless
    necessary
  • Let the catcher do the throwing
  • Dont rely on your indicator
