  • Stage 1 has
  • Shed 1 427m2 with office area of 87m2. A
    canopy of 70m2.
  • Shed 2 1104m2 shed and an office of 102m2 with
    a 106m2 canopy.
  • Shed 3 2000m2 with a 330m2 canopy, with 2
    gantrys and an internal office of 140m2
  • Building 3b- 280m2 lakeside office.
  • These Buildings take up a land area of approx.
    15000 m2.
  • The Main Roads have asked us to set aside 2200 m2
    for future road widening on Jacobs Well Rd.
  • The Lakes, creeks, and forest area take up 6000
    m2.
  • That leaves approx. 18800 m2. for Stage 2.

  • Now to the Ecological and Sustainability issue.
  • The sheds have been salvaged from other sites
    repaired, painted and rebuilt on site.
  • For example

  • Shed 2 - The Ice World Shed out of Surfers
    Paradise
  • Shed 3 from Nunawading, Victoria
  • Shed 4 from Port Brisbane
  • Shed 6 was sourced from Burleigh heads.
  • Office Complex (Eco-Centre) and Shed 5( a unique
    purpose built design) New.

  • Stage 1 and 2 there will be 5 underground tanks
    available for potable drinking water
  • A back up supply will be available from a 580000
    litre tank being installed adjacent to the
    retaining wall for stage 2, and for a fire
    sprinkler system in shed 4.
  • The sprinkling system needs 380000 litres so the
    surplus 200000 will be available for potable
    drinking water.
  • All the road runoff water passes through gross
    pollutant traps and into another 5 45000 litre
    storage tanks and from there into the wetlands
    (bio-filter areas) and then the water enters
    into the lake.
  • When I started on the project I found it daunting
    to say the least. Looking for the right
    suppliers and sourcing the correct information
    was difficult. With patience planning and
    perseverance it can be done.

    with a lake view.
  • Shed 5a 1064 m2. self storage shed
    incorporating Managers Office
  • Shed 5b- 460m2 covered area 104m2 and external
    office of 120m2
  • Shed 6 646 m2. 200 m2. External Office
  • The administration centre will be on 3 levels
    With total letting area of 360 m2.
  • Plus Caretakers residence is the restored
    Queenslander that was originally on the site

  • Shed 5a Eco storage facility with internal self
    storage sheds over two floors 1064 m2 each floor,
    Yatala Eco Storage Solutions will be using this
    space for their business.
  • Shed 5b- SolarGreen (Aust) PTY. LTD. Managed by
    Robert Wichgers will occupy majority of the 460m2
    office complex (120m2). Ultrapanel the light
    weight wall cladding system will also operate
    from these premises.
  • Underground parking of 104m2 with lake and
    rainforest views.
  • Shed 6- 648m2 with gantry and an office of 200m2
    with Eco Kinetics renting the space. Eco-Kinetics
    are a solar power company providing alternate
    energy solutions to residential and commercial
    clientele.

  • The Eco Display Centre is a three story
    complex.
  • Basement is a lower courtyard area designed as
    an eatery that supplies fresh heath foods,
    organic, and free range products that will
    provide food and relaxation for the site and
    other workers in the local area.
  • Ground level- the entrance will have two
    accesses. One from the main road, and one from
    the estate. There is ample parking provided.
    This centre is used for displaying
    eco-sustainable products and businesses within
    QLD.
  • The1st floor will have a 60 seat lecture-theatre
    room, serviced offices, and will be the
    administration centre for the estate.

  • Tenants are attracted to the estate because of
    the Ecological value of the site e.g.
  • SolarGreen the Solar power house of Queensland
    that designs and installs solar power systems to
    homes and commercial buildings. SolarGreen
    supplied and installed the solar power for the
    site, which is used to power the pumps and
    lighting systems.
  • Ultrapanel an innovative concrete cladding
    product for commercial and residential properties
    that is made from recycled newspaper and the
    panels are used on the base walls of all the
    sheds throughout the estate.

  • Anika Natural Products occupy Shed 1 This
    company makes and supplies natural beauty
    products, from organic and natural products for
    the nation and international market.
  • Yatala Environmental Solutions (YES) Occupy shed
    2. A company that specialises in recycling used
    building materials, including polyurethane
    products! 90 of building site refuse is
    guaranteed to be recycled. There clientele are
    both residential and commercial including major
    retail companies and many others.
  • Tyco Flow Control pacific PTY LTD Occupying
    shed 3a. This company will predominately be
    assembling and manufacturing large panel tanks
    for Australian and overseas markets.

    premises.

We are the first builders in Australia to have
designed and built an eco industrial estate with
the UDIA 6 leaf certification. All the tenants
applied to this site due to the environmental
standards and we have more prospective tenants
knocking at the door. We intend to continue
leasing the sheds and offices to businesses and
companies that have ecological value within their
businesses and for the community.
