Seize every opportunity and innovateEven during
these tough economic times, we are seeing real
growth opportunities, such as the high demand of
converging networks/IP solutions and deployment
of IT infrastructure in emerging applications.
Focusing on growing our presence in these
geographical areas will play an important part in
helping us achieve our aggressive development
objectives, especially as both Europe and North
America are saturated markets and face extremely
strong competition. Through our core competencies
in innovation, cost control and time-to-market
delivery as well as our comprehensive product
portfolio and established worldwide distribution
channels, we can distance ourselves from the
competition and remain on top. Innovation will
be key to our success and we must apply our
creative energies towards enhancing our products,
business operations, as well as sales and
marketing efforts. Whilst we largely produce
commodity products we have the opportunity to
show our customers how our products can fit
together solutions that will improve their
lifestyle, something which our competitors have
not been able to achieve. D-Link is a well-known
global brand, and our products are good in fact
equal to our competition but we must improve and
strive to become the best. We must consistently
deliver on our promise of providing the highest
quality products and customer service to our
consumers. We must also strive to lower our
costs, which will ultimately yield higher profit
margins and greater satisfaction levels for our
business partners and customers. By accomplishing
these goals, D-Link together with our partners,
will be in a position to offer the best solutions
on the market for our customers.

Over the next three years, our goal is to focus
on quality, productivity and service. Delivering
high quality products, documentation, customer
service, processes and sales marketing are
paramount in providing value and quality to our
customers, as is innovation in business
operations and sales marketing, to further
enhance our overall customer service
experience.In our pursuit of quality we must
evaluate how we can shorten our time-to-market so
that we can expedite the fulfillment of our
products and solutions ahead of our competition.
We must improve our work efficiency by setting
priorities and focusing resources on the right
products that not only meet customers demands
but that furthermore generate the greatest
revenue."Globalization" will be key for the
D-Link family going forward. We must leverage all
D-Link resources around the world to share them
across borders and create greater synergy
internally. We must convey to our customers that
D-Link is a globally renowned brand and it is
imperative that we create a brand image that is
consistent and unified.As we build our future
platform we must ensure all resources are
transparent, correctly employed and shared. Our
local presence is essential, as it allows us to
act locally with a great degree of flexibility
and efficiency whilst drawing on global
competencies and resources. Completing this
vision of D-Link globalization will allow us to
increase our efficiency and become strong enough
to dominate the market.

Corporate responsibility and sustainabilityAt
D-Link, we are committed to being environmentally
responsible in our business operations, products,
lives and work. This year, we established the
GRASS Forum, our environmental strategy that all
of our products and processes must comply with.
Being in the networking industry, I always
believe that people can improve or empower their
lives with the solutions that D-Link provide.
This vision is embodied in our mission statement
Building Networks for People. Last year we were
the first company on the market to launch Green
Ethernet products, and passed TÜV Rheinland STAR
certification with the highest 5 stars. Our Green
Ethernet products have set a trend in the market
and we are determined to continue to lead the
market by extending the technology across
different product lines such as Broadband, WLAN,
IP-Cam and NAS as well as achieving further
energy savings within the technology.
Furthermore, company-wide we are making
eco-friendly enhancements to our packaging,
logistics and internal operations. It is our
corporate responsibility to make this change and
is something that is becoming ever more prominent
in the mind of our customers. On a final note,
let us revitalize D-Link as a corporation and
encourage the concept of entrepreneurship in each
and every one of you so that we all strive to be
more creative, productive, customer- and market
