Glass Mountain Geophysical Surveys
MT 170 stations used in 3D of gt300
acquired TDEM 440 stations integrated from gt600
acquired Gravity gt530 stations integrated of gt900
acquired TGH 24 temperature holes, 3 slim holes
and 2 wells constrained exploration VES 61
stations not used because non-linear layout not
fully compensated so results are
misleading MEQ Microearthquake (passive seismic)
survey detected few events. HEM Detected two
areas of very shallow low resistivity DIL
log Wireline induction resistivity log provides
correlation for MT

Glass Mountain Geothermal Field TDEM Correction
of MT Statics
  • Two TDEM stations at same MT station n083
  • TDEM n083 100 m loop, TDEM R15 300 m loop
  • Different static correction indicated
  • TDEM n083 unrealistic shift to low resistivity
  • TDEM unrealistic over shallow thick resistive
rocks like lavas but it still looks usable
