To connect your RangeXTD WiFi Extender to a
Virgin Media Router, follow these steps. It's a
relatively quick processheres a simple

PLUG IN THE RANGEXTD
STEP -1

• Plug the RangeXTD WiFi Extender into a power
  socket near your Virgin router for initial setup.
• Wait about 30 seconds until the Power LED is
  solid.

CONNECT TO THE EXTENDERS NETWORK
STEP -2

• On your phone, tablet, or laptop, go to your WiFi
  settings
• Connect to the RangeXTDs default SSID
• "RangeXTD_2.4G" or "RangeXTD_5G"

OPEN THE RANGEXTD LOGIN PAGE
STEP -3

• Open a web browser and type in
• http//192.168.7.234
• This opens the RangeXTD login page.

START THE RANGEXTD SET UP PROCESS
STEP -4

• Select Repeater Mode.
• Let the device scan for nearby WiFi networks.
• Choose your Virgin Media WiFi network (e.g.,
  "VirginMedia123456").
• Enter your Virgin WiFi password.
• You can
• Keep the same WiFi name (SSID), or
• Set a new one like "Virgin_Ext".

FINALIZE AND REBOOT
STEP -5

• Click Apply or Connect.
• Wait 12 minutes for it to connect and restart.
• Youve now completed the RangeXTD set up
  successfully!

MOVE THE EXTENDER
STEP -6

• Unplug the RangeXTD and place it halfway between
  your router and the area with weak signal.
• Plug it in, wait for the Signal LED
• ?? Green Good signal
• ?? Red Poor signal (move it closer to router)
