Born 1969, Eugene Titov is graduated from the St.
Petersburg Academy of Arts. 1995-2001 _at_
Scientific- expedition for mapping and copying
the old Russian monumental painting the Trinity
Cathedral in Golitsino, Trinity Cathedral in
Kostroma Kremlin, Church of St. John the
theologian in Kostroma, the Annunciation
Cathedral of the Moscow Kremlin, the Cathedral of
St. George, Staraya Ladoga, the Holy gates of
Evangelist John monastery in Ryazan region, the
churches of the city of Murom.
Knowledge and skills gained in the walls of the
Imperial Academy of Arts, and major museums
around the World, helped create Eugene Titov own
unique art style, organically combines the
traditions of high art of ancient Egypt, Greece,
Russia, the Renaissance period with the trends of
the contemporary art world. All the artists
works are made in an original technique that
combines subtle classic painting with rich
textures, elegant plastic and gilding, including
the techniques of cloisonne, enamel and filigree.
Technically, Titov works with gold leaf. His
signature is represented by a vertical cartouche
as in ancient Egypt
