INTRODUCTION
Established in 1980, Ghousia College of
Engineering (GCE) is a premier institution
located in Ramanagaram, Karnataka. Managed by the
Ghousia Industrial and Engineering Trust, the
college is dedicated to providing quality
technical education to students from diverse
backgrounds. Affiliated with Visvesvaraya
Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, and
recognized by the All India Council for Technical
Education (AICTE), GCE has consistently
maintained high academic standards and a
commitment to excellence.

HISTORICAL BACKGROUND
The Ghousia Industrial and Engineering Trust was
founded in 1962 by the late Janab Alhaj Nabi
Sharieff Saheb to honor his father, Janab
Mohammed Ghouse Saheb. The establishment of GCE
in 1980 marked a significant milestone in the
Trust's mission to promote technical education
and empower students with the skills necessary to
excel in engineering and technology fields.

CAMPUS AND LOCATION
GCE is situated on a sprawling 35-acre campus in
Ramanagaram, approximately 45 kilometers from
Bengaluru, along the Bengaluru-Mysuru highway.

GCE offers a range of undergraduate and
