Graduated the secondary school of Fine Arts in
1973. Graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in
Sofia in 1981 in Mural Painting and Oil
Painting. He is married, a father of two
children. Works and lives in Sofia, Bulgaria.
Since graduating the Academy of Fine Arts, he
works on his own mainly in the field of Painting.
He actively takes part in the creative life of
the Union of the Bulgarian Artists till
1989. Participates in many general Art
exhibitions. One-man shows 1987 One-man show art
exhibition in Sofia, Bulgaria. 1988 One-man show
art exhibition in Veliko Tarnovo and in
Sofia 1989 One-man show art exhibition in Sofia,
Bulgaria 1990 One-man show art exhibition at the
E.O.S. Gallery in Paris 1991 One-man show art
exhibition in Karlsruhe, Germany and Paris,
France 1993,1994,1995,1997,1999,2000 Exhibitions
at Sheraton Hotel Balkan in Sofia, Bulgaria 2009
- One-man show art exhibition at Minerva Gallery
in Grand Hotel Sofia in Sofia, Bulgaria 2011 -
One-man show art exhibition at Le Papillon
Gallery in Varna, Bulgaria Since year 2000,
Vesselin Nenkov works mostly for private
collections and Art galleries. His works are
possessions of many private collections in the
USA, Argentina, Brazil, Columbia, Venezuela,
Japan, South Korea, India, Egypt, Kuwait, etc.
and all over Europe.

author skillfully recreates the strong presence
and magical effect of Bulgarian woman through
stylized folk elements complemented and enriched
