cramped Japanese capsule hotels. When I started
working on Bunk, refurbishing two old churches
into luxury hostels, I knew I wanted pods, says
Hagedoorn. But I wanted luxury pods. I wanted
guests to have a premium experience at an
excellent price, with sustainably produced,
modular, durable, easy-to-install, and
easy-to-clean pods.
Turning this vision into reality wasnt simple.
It required over a year of searching,
planning, testing, and refining. As Hagedoorn
reflects, I am a bit of a perfectionist, and
the journey to achieving the ideal pod was long
and challenging. With Breukers expertise, they
perfected the pod model and eventually founded
