Working Principle

• It works using compressed air for controlling the
  movement of the Gate, this is designed for
  cutting through thick fluids and slurries.
• Actuation the pneumatic actuator which is within
  the valve system, uses the compressed air to move
  the piston and stem mechanism
• Opening when the actuator is supplied with the
  compressed air, it pushes the piston, and then
  turns the gate to rise. This mechanism opens the
  valve and allows the fluid to pass through it.
• Closing the air supply is reversed to close the
  valve. So the piston moves in the opposite
  direction and lowers the gate. Thus, the gate
  will block any debris or slurry components and
  ensures a tight seal.
