Seljalandsfoss Walk Behind the Falls

Skógafoss The Mighty Curtain of Water
Impressive Scale Skógafoss is another iconic
waterfall, with a drop of 60 meters (197 feet)
and a width of 25 meters (82 feet). The sheer
volume of water crashing down creates a
thunderous roar and a mist that often produces
stunning rainbows on sunny days. Climb to the
Top A staircase alongside the waterfall allows
visitors to climb to the top for a birds-eye
view of the falls and the surrounding landscape.

Gljúfrabúi The Hidden Gem
Secluded Beauty Just a short walk from
Seljalandsfoss, Gljúfrabúi (meaning dweller in
the gorge) is a hidden waterfall that cascades
into a narrow canyon. The entrance to the canyon
is partially obscured by a large boulder, adding
to the sense of adventure and discovery. Intimate
Experience Due to its secluded location,
Gljúfrabúi often has fewer visitors than its more
famous neighbors, allowing for a more intimate
and serene experience.
