Points to consider before submitting an
application for a Name Change in the Central
Gazette -
- The documents enclosed by the applicant should be
no older than one year. Otherwise, the Department
of Publication will reject them. - Applications for Name Change/Correction in LIC
Documents, Share Certificates, and Property
Documents are not accepted by the Gazette. - Pay the Publication Fee as specified by the
Department and keep a clear printout of the
payment receipt. - Publication of the Notification in the Central
Gazette is required. It has more authority and
recognition than the Notification of State
Gazette.
