Introduction
Fiza Farhan is a Pakistani social entrepreneur,
business personality, activist, and development
expert analyst. She is the co-founder of the
Buksh Foundation and currently works as a Global
Strategic Development advisor. She is a member of
the UN Secretary-General's Panel on Women's
Economic Empowerment.

women empowerment access to energy.

BUKSH FOUNDATION
Fiza Farhan runs a microfinance institution, the
Buksh Foundation, which tackles Pakistan's
pressing energy and gender issues by bringing
renewable energy solutions to poor communities,
while focusing on women as employees and clients.

onthe United Nations Secretary Generals first
