Manufacturing Process

• The manufacturing process of Mahan TMT 550D is a
  rigorous one, involving the use of advanced
  technology and strict quality control measures.
  The process can be divided into the following
  steps
• Raw material selection Only the highest quality
  iron ore and other raw materials are used in the
  manufacturing of Mahan TMT 550D.
• Steelmaking The raw materials are melted in a
  furnace and refined to produce molten steel.
• Billet casting The molten steel is poured into
  molds to form billets, which are solid steel rods
  of a specific size and shape.

• Hot rolling The billets are heated in a furnace
  and then passed through a series of rollers to
  reduce their diameter and increase their length.
• Thermo-mechanical treatment (TMT) The hot rolled
  bars are subjected to a unique TMT process, which
  involves quenching and tempering. This process
  enhances the strength, ductility, and toughness
  of the steel.
• Finishing The TMT bars are cut to the desired
  length, straightened, and bundled.
• Quality control The TMT bars are subjected to a
  series of quality control tests to ensure that
  they meet the highest standards.
