License Description To receive an Electrology
Instructor License in Michigan, an applicant must
have attained a high school diploma or its
equivalent, have a current Michigan electrologist
license, and have at least 3 years of practical
experience in electrology (which includes 1 year
in a cosmetology establishment holding a limited
license for the practice of electrologist).
Finally, the applicant must have at least 300
hours of instructor training,
