ABOUT US
Circulation heater are efficient electric heating
systems that require minimal time and labor to
install. They combine heating elements, vessel,
insulation, terminal enclosure, mounting
brackets, and inlet/outlet connections into a
complete assembly. These heaters are designed to
heat forced-circulation air, gases, or liquids,
making them suitable for in-line or side-arm
operations.

thermostat mounted on the heater. Mounting
Small units supported by inlet and outlet piping
Larger units equipped with mounting lugs for
support. Outer Jacket Heavy gauge painted steel
sleeving. Contains high-temperature thermal
insulation to reduce heat loss. Heating
ChamberPipe chambers (150 Lbwelded construction,
standard) have a flanged or threaded end to
receive heater assembly and are closed at the
opposite end. Larger units have drain connections
to allow sludge removal. Inlet and outlet nozzles
are provided for the circulation of fluid or gas
through the heater chamber. Chamber material is
available in Steel. Galvanized Steel or Stainless
Steel depending on the application. Heating

for corrosive resistance. Wiring
ConnectionsInternal wiring and power connections
are sized according to wiring tables in the
National Electrical Code and International
Electric Code.

Circulation Heater Typical Application
Inline Heating
Side Arm
Closed-Loop Fuel Oil Heating
Circulation heaters installed directly in the
fluid line eliminate the need for storage tanks,
reducing heat losses and meeting constant demands
for heated water or oil.
Several individually adjustable circulation units
meet temperature and fluid flow requirements,
effectively reducing electrical demand on utility
bi
Multiple circulation heaters can fulfill the
requirements of large storage tanks, offering
temperature control flexibility and reducing
power demand.

How To Select A Circulation Heater
1. Selecting the right components for a
circulation heater is crucial and requires
careful engineering judgment and evaluation of
the application. After determining the heat
requirement, it is essential to select the
appropriate flange and vessel material, heating
element sheath material, and watt density to
ensure the longevity of the heater. The final
equipment selection relies on the process
knowledge and engineering expertise of the
designer or plant engineer. 2. You need to
consider the following factors when the
application a) The properties of the heated
medium, include viscosity, specific heat,
density, and corrosiveness. b) The presence of
contaminants in the medium. c) The corrosion
resistance of the heater sheath material. d) The
watt density of the heating elements is
determined by the watts per square inch and the
flow rate of the heated medium. e) The vessel
design and material, considering the pressure and
temperature of the fluid being heated. 3. Right
to Understand. The selection of the sheath
material is determined by the buyers
understanding of the corrosive solutions
chemical composition, the characteristics of
materials introduced into the solution, and the
implemented controls to maintain the process.
This knowledge guides the ultimate choice of
sheath material to mitigate corrosion.
