The CELPIP test is a computer-based test that
takes about 3 hours to complete. It is divided
into four sections Listening, Reading, Writing,
and Speaking. The Listening section has 7 parts
and takes about 47-55 minutes. It assesses your
ability to understand spoken English in a
variety of contexts. The Reading section has 6
parts and takes about 55-60 minutes. It assesses
your ability to read and understand written
English in a variety of contexts. The Writing
section has 2 parts and takes about 53-60
minutes. It assesses your ability to write in
English in a variety of contexts. The Speaking
section has 8 parts and takes about 15-20
minutes. It assesses your ability to speak in
English in a variety of contexts.
