- A dental implant is at its core a titanium screw
that mimics the natural root of a tooth. There
are multiple parts to the implant process.

INITIAL CONSULT
- During the consultation, the patient will be
examined to assess if they are an appropriate
candidate for implants.

Second Consultation
- During the second consultation dental x-rays
will be taken and the procedure planned with the
patient and the dentist.

Surgery
- On the surgery day, under local anaesthetic a
small incision is made into the gum area after it
is cleared. The implant is then inserted into
your jawbone.

Implant Placed
- Once the implant has fused with the jawbone the
final restoration of the tooth can occur. This
may be in the form of a crown or a dental bridge.
