Stories of the Struggle of the I Village Women
  • The challenges faced by women living in rural
India are a huge issue. In spite of having
limited access to education as well as work
opportunities, women living in these areas face
huge obstacles in creating their own path in
    life. This is
  • particularly true for women in I Village that are
from the tiny town located in Anupshahr, Uttar
Pradesh, India and have had limited and if any
    acces s to
  • lives to create a better future for their
families and the people who surround them.
opportunities that one requires for a holistic
    growth in their lives.
  • Women from I Village Are fighters who have defied
the societal rules to feed their families and
follow their goals. Despite having to face
    significant challenges
  • everywhere They have demonstrated amazing
strength and perseverance and have escaped the
    confines of their
  • A lot of women provide the only income of their
families, juggling several jobs to help support
the family members they love. Others have to deal
with the challenges of a patriarchal system
which does not recognize bags for women in Delhi
  • the contribution of women. But, despite the
challenges Women from I Village continue to
fight for their rights and future.
  • One of the major challenges that women have to
face has to do with the absence of educational
opportunities. They are often to families in
which girls aren't offered the same
opportunities as boys and therefore, they are
being forced to drop out of school at an early
age. The lack of education hinders their chances
    of gaining
  • employment, and makes it more difficult to get
out from the shackles of poverty.
  • Furthermore, women who are women have to face
    major cultural and social
  • barriers. They are frequently required to follow
gender norms and put the family's needs over
their own needs. This makes it hard for them to
follow their goals and reach their goals.
  • Despite all the difficulties the women of I
    Village have demonstrated incredible strength
and determination. They have assumed the role of
leaders within their communities, launched their
own companies and have become role model for
other women. With their tireless work and
commitment, they are changing their lives as
well as the lives of the people who surround
    them.
