4Eligibility Criteria for MBBS in India
- NEET is required.
- The applicant must be 17 years old when admitted
to an MBBS programme in India. - The candidate's age cannot be more than 25.
- For general category pupils in the 12th grade,
the medical candidate must receive 50 of the
possible points. Candidates for the reserved
category must score at least 40. - The percentages for SC/ST and OBC at AIIMS are
60 and 45, respectively. - The three main disciplines a medical student
should have taken in 12th year are physics,

AIIMS admission exams, the Kerala CEE, the
Karnataka CET, etc.
