• OINP was established in 2007 to address skill
  shortages in certain areas and provide easier
  investment opportunities for the state. Her 2022
  quota for the state is 9,750 nominations.An OINP
  immigration flow consists of a basic flow and an
  extended flow. Enhanced Streams works with the
  federal government's Express Entry system, which
  manages permanent residency applications through
  Canada's three major economy-class immigration
  programs.

• The Express Entry system will score candidates
  based on a comprehensive ranking system "CRS" and
  the highest ranking candidates will be invited to
  apply for permanent residency. If the candidate
  is nominated from an enhanced state program, they
  will receive an additional 600 points,
  essentially guaranteeing an Invitation to
  Permanent Residency (ITA).Conversely, Basic
  Streams are not for Express Entry, so candidates
  apply directly to Immigration, Refugees and
  Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

Ontarios Immigration Streams

• Candidates can choose from three categories when
  immigrating to Ontario Human capital
  prioritiesIncludes Federal Skilled Worker
  Program (FSWP) and Canadian Experience Class
  (CEC). CraftFor those with relevant work
  experience in a qualifying profession in
  Ontario French-speaking skilled workersIt
  works like the Human Capital Priority Program by
  FSWP and CEC, but applicants must have strong
  command of French and English.The following
  programs fall into the Masters and PhD categories.

• Master's CourseFor individuals with a
  master's degree from an Ontario university PhD
  Postgraduate StreamPhD from an Ontario
  universityAs the program in this stream is a
  basic stream, candidates must create a profile
  and register an Expression of Interest (EOI) with
  the Ontario Expression of Interest system.

Employer Job Offer Category

• The following programs fall under the Employer
  Job Offer Category
• Foreign worker stream for skilled workers
• International students for recent graduates of
  post-secondary institutions in Ontario
• In-demand skills streams for intermediate
  skilled workers in certain sectors such as
  construction, agriculture, trucking, and personal
  support workers.

• Under this category, the candidate must intend to
  live in Ontario and have a full-time permanent
  job offer in an eligible occupation in Ontario.
  They must also have work experience, a licence or
  other authorization that is required to perform
  the job.
• In addition, the Regional Immigration Pilot is a
  program that is part of the Employer Job Offer
  Category with a goal of attracting and retaining
  immigrations to rural and small communities in
  Ontario to fill labour shortages.
