Polyester Composite Strap The term "synthetic
steel" is also used to describe composite
polyester strapping. Composite strap, made of
filaments encased in polyester, is strong and has
good abrasion resistance. Due to its reduced
weight, resistance to corrosion, and safety
during usage, it is being utilized more
frequently in place of steel. In contrast to its
steel sibling, it is also weather resistant in
hot and cold weather. Due to the strong material
memory, the strapping may safely retain flexing
goods like lumber without losing tension or
injuring the strapped item. Composite polyester
is more quickly and conveniently linked than
steel since it just needs a hand-operated
tensioning tool and light cutters. Composite
polyester is joined using a steel buckle.
