  activities of the entire firm.
• Time-Variant The data in the Data Warehouse is
  stored as a time variance that helps retrieve
  data from elements of time such as a week, month,
  or year.

• Types of Data Warehouse
• The Data Warehouse is of three types as follows
• Data Mart Data Mart is a subgroup of a data
  warehouse that is designed to focus on business
  operations such as marketing, finance, sales,
  etc. The data from the data mart is stored in the
  Operational Data Store (ODS), which is sent to
  Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW). The data is
  collected directly from various sources for an
  Independent Data mart.
• Enterprise Data Warehouse EDW is a centralized
  Warehouse used to provide support services over
  the enterprise. It provides a unified approach
  for data representation and allows the execution
  of complex queries.
• Operational Data Store ODS is a real-time data
  warehouse mainly used to store employee records.
  It supports organizational report requirements.
