will undoubtedly be familiar with the term
Express Entry. Express Entry may appear to be its
own Canadian immigration scheme however, this
is not the case. It is crucial to understand what
Express Entry is and how it works before

Express Entry is a procedure, not a program.
In 2015, Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship
Canada (IRCC) introduced the Express Entry
application management system. It was put in
place because it was recognized that the current
method was ineffective in dealing with the
enormous number of applications received by
IRCC. Previously, Canada examined every
application, regardless of whether the applicant
met a set of basic qualifications. As a result,
the full application process could take up to
five years.
What is the Express Entry method for Canada?
It is not as difficult as it appears on the
surface to obtain Canada Express Entry. The first
step is to determine your eligibility. Then, in
order to express your interest in applying for
permanent residency in Canada, you must complete

Wait for the IRCC to make a final decision on
your application. Once confirmed, you will
receive a Confirmation of Permanent Residence
(COPR) and a Canada permanent resident visa (if
you are from a country that requires one),
allowing you to complete your landing.

• The Canadian National Occupational Classification
  (NOC) system specifies skilled workers.
• The NOC is a system used in Canada to assess the
  level of competence and education required for a
  specific trade or career. There are three kinds
  of NOCs that qualify for Express Entry
• NOC 0 Jobs in management, such as those in
  restaurants.
• NOC A Jobs that typically require a college
  diploma.
• Technology and skilled trades NOC B
• Each NOC category has its own ranking system, and
  applicants are assigned unique numeric codes
  based on their occupation.

The Skilled Worker Program of the United States
The FSWP is intended for skilled workers who meet
the language, employment experience, and study
abroad requirements. The minimal requirements are
one year of work experience, a CLB score of 7,
proof of money, and proof of schooling. You must
also get an FSWP point total of 67 out of
100. Class on Canada Experience The CEC is only
available to people who have worked in Canada in
a skilled position for at least one year in the
previous three years. Different language
requirements exist depending on their NOC
classification. Candidates in NOC 0 must have a
CLB of at least 7, whereas NOC B employees must
have a CLB of at least 5.
Trade Workers Program for Federal Employees
In response to a skills shortage, Canada
developed the FSTP in 2013. The program is
similar to FSWP, however, it is exclusively open
to qualified tradespeople. Applicants must have
two years of experience in a skilled trade, a
full-time work offer from a Canadian employer, or
a certificate of qualification from Canadian
authorities to be eligible for the FSTP.
Program for Provincial Nominees
Each province or territory, with the exception of
Quebec and Nunavut, has a Provincial Nominee
Program (PNP). Provinces conduct frequent
assessments of the Express Entry candidate pool.
If an applicant fits certain criteria and is
eligible for one of the Express Entry-managed
programs, the

province may extend an invitation to file an
application for a provincial nomination.
Candidates may also indicate a preference for a
certain province in their application.
Candidates for enhanced provincial immigration
systems are drawn from the Express Entry pool.
If the candidate nominates by the province, they
will receive 600 more CRS points.
The Comprehensive Rankings System
Score and rank the use of CRS to check the rank
and score of express entry candidates. Those who
wish to immigrate to Canada via Express Entry
must first build a personal profile on the IRCC
website. It takes about an hour to complete this
