• Using Soap and Water
• Prepare a solution by adding mild soap to
  lukewarm water. Let the gold ring soak in it for
  20 to 30 minutes.
• Use a soft-bristle brush or a soft cloth to clean
  the ring from every direction.
• Rinse the gold ring with regular water (without
  added soap) and wipe it dry using a soft and
  non-damaging cloth.
• Using Ammonia
• You can also use ammonia to clean gold jewellery.
• Add one teaspoon of ammonia to six to seven
  teaspoons of water solution. Keep the gold ring
  in the solution for not more than one minute.
• Rinse the gold ring using normal water and wipe
  it clean and dry with a soft cloth.

• Using Toothpaste
• Mix a pea-sized toothpaste with regular water and
