Title: Prestigious Communities in Georgia – Eduard de Guardiola

  • Prestigious Communities in Georgia Eduard de
    Guardiola

  • If youre thinking of relocating to the scenic
and historic Peach State of Georgia, USA, there
are dozens of prestigious communities to consider
not all of which are in Atlanta. From beaches
to midlands to mountains, we teamed up with real
estate mogul and founder of Vista Realty
Partners, Eduard de Guardiola, to bring you a
list of the best affluent communities to consider
    living in Georgia.

  • 1. Buckhead
  • Eduard de Guardiola explains that Buckhead is
situated in the uptown district of Atlanta where
Peachtree and Lenox roads intersect and is home
to some of the citys wealthiest residents. From
Elton John to Janet Jackson, Buckhead has been
listed as the number one metropolitan area for
women and minorities to achieve business success.
Almost everything happens in Buckhead, which
isnt surprising as it is the citys economic
centre and location of all the luxury shopping
malls, decadent eateries, and top-rated hotels.
  • 2. Druid Hills
  • As one of Atlantas first suburban
neighbourhoods, included in the National Historic
Register and planned by Frederick Law Olmstead
(who laid out New Yorks Central Park), we had
to include Druid Hills in this list. This
district is known for the home from Driving Miss
Daisy, and is a stunning example of old, Southern
design. The signature architecture in this
region, such as the Tudors and Mediterranean
style villas is quintessential to Druid Hills.
Eduard de Guardiola explains that this is the
ideal neighbourhood for families looking for a
refreshing and quiet retreat, nestled in
acre-size lots shaded by mature trees.

  • 3. Dunwoody
  • If youre looking to get outside of Atlanta,
Eduard de Guardiola suggests Dunwoody, a small
community comprised of art centers, local
theatres and cultural activities with a
population of 47,000. Dunwoody is easily
accessible to and from Downtown Atlanta. Dunwoody
is the largest community arts education site in
the Southeast and is the perfect escape from the
hustle and bustle of downtown. Oh, and Sean Puffy
Combs and Tony Braxton live close by.

  • 4. Brookhaven
  • Brookhaven is Atlantas newest affluent sub city.
With a population of around 49,000 people, this
enclave is just north of Atlantas prestigious
Buckhead region and boasts a wide variety of
    architectural styles from traditional to
mid-century. The combination of established homes
and those newly constructed makes certain that
there is a place for every design preference.
There are a number of important landmarks found
within the Buckhead region, such as Oglethorpe
University and Capital City Country Club. It has
also been operating its own sub metro since
    late 2012.
  • 5. Inman Park
  • Last but not least is a region that dates back to
1912 when it rose as Atlantas first ever planned
garden suburb Inman Park. Eduard de
Guardiola explains that Inman Park is
    picturesque, and features bike-friendly,
    tree-lined streets, and Victorian-style early
20tjh century homes. Just like the rest of
Georgia, this city overflows with charm and
    personality.
